Physical Exercise

Physical exercise means movement of limbs of our body. It is one of the preconditions for good health. Exercise makes one strong and fit for work. Physical exercise is the crying need for kept the body fit. “Sound mind in a sound body” is a wise saying. A sound body is impossible without taking regular physical exercise. Morning is the best time for physical exercise. We may take exercise in the evening also. Regularity is the requisite of physical exercise. There are many kinds of exercises and all of them are not suitable for everyone. Young people may participate in games and sports like cricket, football, badminton, tennis, golf, martial arts and so on. They also take part in gymnastics like running, weightlifting, etc. However, older people cannot afford to do these exercise. Walking is the best exercise for them. So, exercises should be selected according to the physician’s suggestion. We must keep in mind that without exercise, our body becomes weak. As a result, we become vulnerable to several diseases. On the other hand, regular physical exercise strengthens the natural resistance of the body. Thus, a person can be energetic and vigorous even in the old age. It works as a tonic to refresh a depressed mind. We must also remember that over exercise is harmful for our health. With over exercise, our body becomes so weak. So, it should be avoided.

He can work hard, and thus, earn his livelihood more. So, he can be both healthy and wealthy by doing regular physical exercise. But sometimes, many of us do over-exercise. It is very harmful to us. Exercise must be matched with one's physical structure. So, we should do regular physical exercise for our better health and life.
