Hospital

A hospital is a place where sick people gather for treatment. It gives medical treatment to them free of cost. A hospital is run either by public or by the government. A big hospital has a large staff of qualified doctors and trained nurses while a small one has a small establishment. A village charitable dispensary which is also a kind of hospital has only one doctor and one compounder. Each hospital has two sections – the outdoor and the indoor. Generally, a greater number of sick people are treated in the outdoor section. People attacked with serious illness are admitted in the indoor section. They are kept there under treatment till they are considered fit to leave it. A hospital is also an excellent training ground for young doctors and medical students.

Fishermen

The people who earn their livelihood by catching fish are the fishermen. They are a class by themselves. They are also called “Jeleys” in Bengali language because they catch fish by using the jal or the net. They are hard-working and painstaking people. They catch fish with nets in the big rivers like the Padma and the Meghna. As fishermen are not necessarily traders in fish, the middlemen take advantage of buying fish at a cheap rate from them. The middlemen bring fish to the market and sell it at a high price to the actual buyers. Thus they make a good profit at the cost of the fishermen. As a result, the fate of the fishermen has become more miserable.

Housing

A house is a place where a man lives. A house can be used for other purposes but usually, housing means to provide dwelling place to men. Housing is one of the fundamental needs of men. A man needs a house to live in. We live in house in order to protect ourselves from heat and cold. Houses also protect us from rain and storm. Some people need houses to protect themselves from floods and wild animals as well. Houses keep us comfortable and happy. But the irony is that a large number of people of Bangladesh have no house of their own. The first thing is money that is needed to build a house. But the greater part of our people are poor and many of them have not money to build houses to live in. Moreover, many poor people are landless. On an average six people live in a house. It is extremely harmful to people’s health to live in a crowded room. Housing problem is the burning problem for the people Bangladesh and the government should keep their eyes on this problem. 

Paragraph - 379

Plague

Plague means a devastating epidemic. Mainly it is a disease of the rat. The rat and the animal of this species are the main hosts of this disease. Commonly the rats of forests and hills possess plague in their blood. One kind of insect named, “Rat Flee” lives in the skin of these wild rats. If the epidemic is seen in the wild rats, the “Rat Flee” starts to come to human habitation. At this time they suck up blood from the rats of colony and spread the disease. When these untroubled rats become affected and died, the “Rat Flee” sucks human blood. In this way human being becomes affected. After that, the disease spreads by the sneezing of the affected people. The plague is fearer than its epidemic quality.

Your National Flag

National flag always represents the independence of a county. Our national flag also does the same. It also bears our nationalism. Its size is 10:6. The flag is made of cloth. The flag symbolizes the green field as well as the rising sun. The blood-red colour of the national flag bears testimony of our bloodshed of achieving independence. We also look upon it as a mark of our devotion to the noble cause of sacrificing our life for its safeguard. We should uphold its honour by paying a rich homage and hoisting it on national days. On some days it is kept hosted at half must. The whole nation dances with joy at its flattering.
