Main idea : Lingering of justice damages the core of crime and evil. Thus, justice should be done as soon as possible.
Amplification : Man is an evil-prone being. He inherits this spirit of evil. Justice and equality is vitally important for man's peace and amity in life. Justice plays a curative role in a man's life. Justice and punishment protect a man from being derailed. As a social beings, we have to ensure equality and justice in a society. Every religion and constitution of the country directs to ensure justice for everyone. But justice should be maintained without delay. The sooner justice is established, the better for everyone. Delay and prolongation destroy the aim of justice. Justice shouldn't be suspended by any means. Delay may spoil the reliability of justice. The witness or token is lost if the process of justice is extended. The evil doers will be exempted. They may lead justice to their favour by means of money or muscle power. The life of an honest witness may be imperiled. Evil perpetrators will be encouraged if they are not brought under justice. So, justice should not be extended. It must be quick based on honesty and proper law.
বঙ্গানুবাদ
মূলভাব : বিচারের দীর্ঘকাল স্থায়িত্ব অপরাধ ও মন্দের মর্মবস্তুকে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করে। সুতরাং বিচার যত দ্রুত সম্ভব সম্পূর্ণ করা উচিত।
ভাবসম্প্রসারণ : মানুষ অনিষ্টপ্রবণ জীব। সে এই অনিষ্টের চেতনা উত্তরাধিকার সূত্রে লাভ করে। ন্যায়পরায়ণতা ও সমতা মানুষের জীবনে শান্তি ও মিত্রতার জন্য অপরিহার্যরূপে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। ন্যায়পরায়ণতা মানুষের জীবনে একটি উপশম সহায়ক ভূমিকা পালন করে। ন্যায়বিচার ও শান্তি একজন মানুষকে লাইনচ্যুত হওয়া থেকে রক্ষা করে। একজন সামাজিক জীব হিসেবে, আমাদেরকে সমাজে সমতা ও ন্যায়বিচার নিশ্চিত করতে হবে। দেশের সকল ধর্ম ও সংবিধান প্রত্যেকের জন্য ন্যায়বিচারের নিশ্চয়তার নির্দেশ দান করে। কিন্তু ন্যায়বিচার বিলম্বহীনভাবে বজায় রাখা উচিত। অতি দ্রুত ন্যায়বিচার প্রতিষ্ঠা, সকলের জন্য অধিকতর শ্রেয়। দেরি ও দীর্ঘায়তকরণ ন্যায়বিচারের উদ্দেশ্যকে ধ্বংস করে। যেকোনো উপায়েই ন্যায়বিচারকে স্থগিত করা উচিত নয়। বিলম্ব ন্যায়বিচারের বিশ্বস্ততাকে ধ্বংস করতে পারে। যদি ন্যায়বিচারের প্রক্রিয়াকে বর্ধিত করা হয়, তাহলে সাক্ষী ও প্রতীক নিরুদ্দিষ্ট হয়। অপরাধীরা রেহাই পেয়ে যাবে। তারা অর্থ ও পেশিশক্তির বলে তাদের অনুকূলে রায় চালিত করতে পারে। সৎ সাক্ষীর জীবন বিপন্ন হতে পারে। যদি তাদেরকে ন্যায়বিচারের আওতায় না আনা হয়, তাহলে খারাপ অপরাধীরা উৎসাহিত হবে। তাই ন্যায়বিচার দীর্ঘায়িত হওয়া উচিত নয়। এটি সততা ও যথাযথ আইনের উত্তর ভিত্তি করে দ্রুত হওয়া উচিত।
