Main idea : Wills help us to find ways. Strong will and determination pave smooth ways for us.
Amplification : Human life is full of troubles and difficulties. It is not easy to prosper in life. Failure in the middle may distort our determination but strong willpower helps us to find ways to succeed in life. In this world, everybody wants success, but a few get it. One of the reasons is that most people are lacking in strength of will. A weak-minded person gets terrified by the early difficulties and gives up the attempt in despair. If, however, a man faces the difficulties bravely, he will be able to overcome them and succeed in the end. Strong will and unyielding determination will also open out before us smooth ways of reaching the goal. So, if one way fails, we may take to another and continue it till our desire is fulfilled. The well-known story of the crow and the pitcher is a good illustration in this case. The story of Robert Bruce teaches us to face difficulties with strong will and determination. Thus, we can definitely say, that man can remove all the problems on his way to success through strong will and strength of mind. Will and determination remove all the obstacles on our way to success.

ভাবসম্প্রসারণ : মানবজীবন দুঃখ-কষ্ট ও জটিলতায় পরিপূর্ণ। জীবনে সমৃদ্ধি লাভ করা সহজ নয়। মধ্যবর্তী স্থানের ব্যর্থতা আমাদের দৃঢ়সংকল্পকে বিকৃত করতে পারে কিন্তু ইচ্ছাশক্তি জীবনের সাফল্যের পথকে খুঁজে পেতে আমাদেরকে সাহায্য করে। পৃথিবীতে প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি সাফল্য চায়, কিন্তু স্বল্পসংখ্যক এটি পায়। এর অন্যতম কারণ হলো অধিকাংশ মানুষের ইচ্ছাশক্তির অভাব। একজন দুর্বল চিত্তের মানুষ প্রারম্ভের ঝামেলায় ভীতসন্ত্রস্ত হয়ে পড়ে এবং হতাশায় তার চেষ্টাকে পরিত্যাগ করে। তথাপি যদি একজন মানুষ সাহসিকতার সাথে ঝামেলার মোকাবিলা করে, তাহলে সে ঐগুলো জয় করতে সমর্থ হবে এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত সাফল্য লাভ করবে। দৃঢ় ইচ্ছা ও অদম্য দৃঢ়সংকল্পও অভীষ্ট লক্ষ্যে পৌঁছার মসৃণ পথকে উন্মোচিত করতে পারে। তাই যদি একটি পথ ব্যর্থ হয়, তাহলে আমরা অপর পথ গ্রহণ করতে পারি এবং আমাদের ইচ্ছা পূরণ হওয়া পর্যন্ত অব্যাহত রাখতে পারি। এই বিষয়ে কাক ও কলসির সুপরিচিত গল্পটি একটি ভালো উদাহরণ। রবার্ট ব্রুসের গল্পটিও ঝামেলা মোকাবিলায় দৃঢ় ইচ্ছা ও দৃঢ়প্রতিজ্ঞার শিক্ষা দেয়। এভাবে, আমরা নিশ্চিতভাবে বলতে পারি, যে মানুষ তার মনের ইচ্ছা ও শক্তির মাধ্যমে তার সাফল্যের পথে সকল সমস্যাকে দূর করতে পারে। ইচ্ছা ও দৃঢ়সংকল্প আমাদের সাফল্যের পথের সকল বাধাকে দূর করতে পারে।

Everybody desires success, but few attain it. One of the reasons is that most people lack the strength of will. A weak-minded person is frightened away by the initial difficulties. Moreover, he gives up the attempt in despair.

The main thing necessary for success in life is firm determination and strength of will.
