Future Perfect Continuous Tense
এই Tense বাংলায় নেই
ভবিষ্যতে কোন কাজ আরম্ভ হবে কিন্তু তার আগ পর্যন্ত অন্য একটি কাজ চলতে থাকবে এরূপ
বুঝালে যে কাজটি চলতে থাকবে তার Verb এর Future Perfect Continuous Tense
হয়।
Future Perfect Continuous Tense এর ধারণা স্পষ্ট করি :
(A)______>(B)
মনে করি, A হল বর্তমান মুহূর্ত (দুপুর ১২ টা)। আর B হল ভবিষ্যতের কোন একটি
মুহূর্ত (মনে কর বিকাল ৫ টা)। B মুহূর্তে একটি কাজ শুরু হবে (তারা আসবে)। কিন্তু
তার আগে A থেকে B পর্যন্ত সময়ে অন্য একটি কাজ চলতে বা ঘটতে থাকবে (তুমি
পড়তে থাকবে)। অর্থাৎ বাক্যটি হবে—
তারা আসার আগ পর্যন্ত তুমি পড়তে থাকবে।
এখানে A থেকে B পর্যন্ত যে কাজটি ঘটতে থাকবে তার Tense হল Future Perfect
Continuous Tense.
Future Perfect Continuous Tense এর Structure :
Subject + shall / will + have + been + মূল Verb এর Present Form এর সাথে ing +
Extension.
বাংলায় চিনবার উপায় : বাংলা ক্রিয়ার শেষে তে থাকিব, তে থাকিবা, তে থাকবা,
তে থাকিবেন এবং একটি সময়ের উল্লেখ থাকবে।
তাহলে মূল কথা হলো এই যে, ভবিষ্যতকালে কোন কাজ কোন নির্দিষ্ট সময় শেষ হওয়ার পূর্ব
পর্যন্ত চলতে থাকবে বুঝালে অথবা দুটি কাজের মধ্যে একটি কাজ ভবিষ্যতে শুরু হয়ে
চলতে থাকবে এরূপ বুঝালে Verb এর Future Perfect Continuous Tense হবে এবং অন্য
কাজটি Present Indefinite অথবা Future Indefinite হবে। সুতরাং এই Tense আছে এমন
একটি বাক্যের গঠন হবে—
Future Perfect Cont. + untill / before / by + clause / time
তাহলে,
তারা আসার আগ পর্যন্ত তুমি পড়তে থাকবে
বাক্যটির translation নিম্নরূপে করতে হবে।
Future perfect অংশটুকু
You will have been reading.
Clause (present বা future indefinite) অংশটুকু
They come or they will come.
তাহলে উপরের গঠনরূপ অনুসারে :
তারা আসার আগ পর্যন্ত তুমি পড়তে থাকবে।
You will have been reading before they come / will come.
এভাবে :
বিকাল পাঁচটা পর্যন্ত তারা পড়তে থাকবে।
They will have been reading until it is 5 p.m.
Or, They will have been reading till 5 p.m.
আমরা সেখানে না পৌঁছা পর্যন্ত দুইদিন যাবত হাঁটতে থাকব।
We will have been walking for two days until we reach there.
আমি এক ঘন্টা ধরে বইটি পড়তে থাকব।
I shall have been reading the book for two hours.
তুমি ফিরে না আসা পর্যন্ত আমরা তোমার জন্য অপেক্ষা করতে থাকব।
We shall have been waiting for you until you come back.
Note :
1st Person এর পরে সাধারণত: shall have been এবং বাকি সব Person এর পরে will have
been বসে।
সে আসার পূর্বে আমরা বিশ্রাম করতে থাকব।
We shall have been taking rest before he comes.
বাড়ি পৌঁছার আগ পর্যন্ত আমি বাসে যেতে থাকব।
I shall have been going by bus before I reach home.
সূর্য অস্ত যাবার আগে আমরা ১ ঘন্টা ধরে খেলতে থাকব।
We shall have been playing for one hour before the sun sets.
Affirmative Sentence :
Subject + shall / will + have + been + মূল Verb এর Present Form এর সাথে ing +
Extension.
Example :
I shall have been doing.
We shall have been doing.
You will have been doing.
He / She will have been doing.
They will have been doing.
[ বোঝার সুবিধার জন্য Extension দেওয়া হয়নি ]
Negative Sentence :
Subject + shall / will + not + have + been + মূল Verb এর Present Form এর সাথে
ing + Extension.
Example :
I shall not have been doing.
We shall not have been doing.
You will not have been doing.
He / She will not have been doing.
They will not have been doing.
[ বোঝার সুবিধার জন্য Extension দেওয়া হয়নি ]
Interrogative :
Shall / Will + Subject + have + been + মূল Verb এর Present Form এর সাথে
ing + Extension + Interrogative sign (?)
Example :
Shall I have been doing?
Shall we have been doing?
Will you have been doing?
Will he / she have been doing?
Will they have been doing?
[ বোঝার সুবিধার জন্য Extension দেওয়া হয়নি ]
Note :
Wh Question যুক্ত থাকলে— Wh question (Who / Why / How etc) + will /
shall + Subject + have + been + মূল Verb এর Present Form এর সাথে ing +
Extension + Inetrrogative Sign (?)
Example :
How shall I have been doing?
How shall we have been doing?
Who will you have been doing?
Why will he / she have been doing?
Future Perfect Continuous Tense এর ব্যবহার
(১) Future Perfect Tense এর মত Future Perfect Continuous Tense ও by যুক্ত time
expression এর সাথে ব্যবহৃত হয়। যেমন—
By the end of the week, he will have been living here for five
years.

আমি দুই বছর আগে ইংল্যান্ডে গিয়েছিলাম কিন্তু তারপর থেকে আমি আর অন্য কোথাও
যাইনি।
I (go) ___ to England two years ago, but I (go, not) _____ anywhere since
then.
সমাধান :
ago থাকলে Past Indefinite হয় এবং since, then থাকলে তা Present Perfect হয়।
অর্থাৎ,
I went to England two years ago, but haven't ( have not) gone anywhere
since then.

আমরা ১৯৯৪ সালে ঢাকা গিয়েছিলাম এবং তারপর থেকে সেখানে থাকি।
We (come) ___ to Dhaka in 1994 and ( have live) ____ here since
then.
সমাধান :
বাক্যে in, 1994 থাকায় এটি Past Indefinite এবং since, then থাকলে তা Present
Perfect হয়। অর্থাৎ,
We came to Dhaka in 1994 and have been living here since then.

The queen is said (visit) ____ Australia next year.
সমাধান :
পরের বছর ভ্রমণে যাইতেছে। সুতরাং to be + verb + ing হবে।
The queen is said to be visiting Australia next year.

সে আমাকে প্রায়ই দেখে কিন্তু কখনো কথা বলেনি।
He often (see) ___ me but has never (speak) ____ to me.
সমাধান :
বাক্যে often থাকলে Present Indefinite Tense হয় এবং never থাকলে Present Perfect
Tense হয়। অর্থাৎ
He often sees me but has never spoken to me.
একই রকম আরেকটি উদাহরণ :
He often (read) ___ newspaper but he has never (read) ____ a
novel.
সমাধান :
He often reads newspaper but he has never read a novel.

এ শহরে কতদিন ধরে বাস করছো?
____ have you been living in this city?
সমাধান :
How long (কত সময়) থাকলে Present Indefinite হয়। সুতরাং
How long have you been living in this city?

সে কাজের ক্ষেত্রে আনুষ্ঠানিক পোশাক পরে না কিন্তু বাকি সব সময় পরিধান করে।
He (not) ____ dress formally to work but he always (do) _____.
সমাধান :
বাক্যের but যুক্ত অংশে always আছে, সুতরাং তা Present Indefinite Tense এর
Negative Sentence হবে। আবার, এখানে Main Verb হিসেবে dress শব্দটি ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে
যার অর্থ পোশাক পরিধান করা। অর্থাৎ
He does not dress formally to work but he always does.
