My dear Ratna,
Thank you for your sweet letter. In it you have expresses your desire to know about the prize-giving ceremony of our school. I am going to let you know about it.

At our school prizes are awarded on the basis of brilliant performance in the fields of class examination, the JSC & SSC Examination, indoor games and literary and cultural activities. One special prize is awarded for regular attendance at school. You will be glad to know that I got a prize for my brilliant result in the last exam. On this occasion, the school auditorium was nicely decorated with flowers and leaves, flags and festoons. Guardians of the students and the elite of the locality attended the function. The DC was the chief guest. The function began with the recitation from the Holy Quran. The Headmaster read out the winners and delivered a short but valuable speech wishing the students to be eminent scholars and ideal citizens of the country. Finally, the Headmaster thanked the chief guest and everybody present in the ceremony. The ceremony was declared closed with the national anthem. It was a joyous day for us and we all enjoyed the day highly.

No more today. I am OK. hope to hear from you soon.

Yours ever,
Sumona
