Life in the City

Life in the city is very modern and upgraded. In city life, there are the most luxuries and comfortable amenities and the people of the city enjoy much by these facilities. The city is the most glamorous place, which attracts people
from the rural areas.
There are some advantages of city life, and it mentioned hereby further types
such as:
(i) In city life, the travelling service is magnificent and comfortable. The roads of the city are properly constructed for moving the vehicles. There is no problem with transportation as compared to the village.
(ii) In every house, the electricity and pipelines have connected in the life of the city. It supplies clean water, which is necessary for
existence in the city.
(iii) The city facilitates the drainage system for waste water. This service also ensures cleanliness on the roads. It also saves us from diseases.
(iv) Cleanliness and sanitation are strictly maintained in city life.
(v) The city life provides excellent medical service. There are many big health centres and qualified doctors for treating people. No one needs to
go far in emergency cases; all facilities are available in nearby places.
(vi) In city life, everyone gets a modern education facility and there are a large number of schools, colleges and universities for the students.
There is also library facility in the city for the students.
(vii) In the city, it is normal that every place has commercial centres for the citizens. A large number of people are developing their skills by
working in the large industrial areas.

There are also some problems of city life too, which are mentioned as below:
(i) Since the rural people are migrating from rural to urban places,
the city is getting congested day by day.
(ii) In city life, many motorized vehicles are causing a lot of traffic
problems. It is a huge disadvantage of city life.
(iii) Generally, in the city life, there is a high pollution level
compared to the rural area. Three types of pollution are seen in the city such as air pollution, water pollution, and noise pollution.
(iv) Many people are not aware of cleanliness of the city. They throw
waste materials in the roads indiscriminately and thus spread garbage.
(v) Because of massive and messy waste and drain, the mosquitoes are
spreading in many areas and causing harmful diseases.
In modern days, the rural area is developing with the help of modern
amenities. That is, the advantages of city life are far greater than those of the rural life.
