Haste is of the devil.
শয়তানের ত্বরা।
Main idea : We shouldn't take any hasty action. We must examine the
situation quite well before we advance to do any work.
Amplification : Human life is full of actions. It is not a bed of
roses. There are problems in every step of our life. We have to do numerous
work in life. We should not be impulsive and over-confident of our power.
Soaring ambitions and uncalculated desires may end in downfall. As soon as
we take the decision, we should not proceed to work. We should think both
positive and negative sides of any work Before jumping, we have to think
about the place. If the place seems suitable, we can proceed to jump.
Otherwise, we may face great difficulties. In fact, our hasty action may
lead us to destruction and death. Thus, hasty action is improper and
illogical. Nothing should be done on the spur of the moment. So, before we
act we should carefully consider everything about the action.
বঙ্গানুবাদ
মূলভাব : আমাদের অবিবেচকের মতো কোনো কাজ করা উচিত নয়। কোনো কাজে অগ্রসর
হওয়ার পূর্বে আমরা অবশ্যই সম্পূর্ণ ভালোভাবে পরিস্থিতি পর্যবেক্ষণ করবো।
ভাবসম্প্রসারণ : মানবজীবন কর্মে ভরা। এটি একটি পুষ্পশয্যা নয়। আমাদের
জীবনের প্রতিটি পদক্ষেপ সমস্যায় জর্জরিত। আমাদের জীবনে অসংখ্য কাজ করতে হবে।
আমাদের ক্ষমতার ব্যাপারে আমাদের বিচলিত এবং অতিবিশ্বাসী হওয়া উচিত নয়।
গগনচুম্বী উচ্চাভিলাষ ও অগণিত আকাঙ্ক্ষা অধঃপতনে পরিসমাপ্তি ঘটতে পারে। আমাদের
সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া মাত্রই, আমাদের কাজে অগ্রসর হওয়া উচিত নয়। আমাদের যেকোনো
কাজের ইতিবাচক ও নেতিবাচক উভয় দিক নিয়ে ভাবা উচিত। লাফ দেওয়ার পূর্বে,
আমাদের স্থানটি সম্বন্ধে ভারতে হবে। যদি স্থানটি উপযোগী মনে হয়, তাহলে আমরা
লাফ দেওয়ার জন্য অগ্রসর হতে পারি। নতুবা আমরা বড়ো বিপদের সম্মুখীন হতে পারি।
বস্তুত আমাদের অবিবেচনাপ্রসূত কাজ আমাদের ধ্বংস ও মৃত্যুর দিকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে
যেতে পারে। সুতরাং অবিবেচকের মতো কাজ অনুচিত ও অযৌক্তিক। ঝোঁকের মাথায় কোনো
কিছুই করা উচিত নয়। তাই কাজের পূর্বে আমাদের সতর্কতার সাথে কাজ সম্বন্ধে
সবকিছু বিবেচনা করা উচিত।

The saying here is a warning against hasty action. Some people are impulsive
by nature or over-confident in their abilities. No sooner does an idea occur
in their minds than they begin it without any thought. This is highly
improper and results in failure and suffering.
Even if we succeed in a work, this success will be worse than failure if it
produces undesirable consequences. Far from finding joy in it, we shall
regret it deeply. So, before we act we should carefully consider everything
about the action.
