Role of Women
The status of women is changing in Bangladesh. Now many women are working outside the home. Women have always worked within the household. But this household is not counted as work. It is really unfortunate that women’s roles in agricultural societies have not been recognized yet. Whether it is due to economic necessity or the urge to establish an individual identity or both, nowadays many women are entering the out side work force. This is the conspicuous change in our society. Women are joining a wide range of professions. It is not only educated women who are opting to work but women with little or no education have come out of their cocoons to earn and become self-reliant. We must value the role of women in our life.
