Holidays mean day of rest, recreation, or festivity when no work is done. Human beings have to work on earth. A man can not live without working It is work that helps to sustain man on earth. But in the midst of incessant work, we need rest. On holidays, we can take rest. Holidays come to us as blessing. On these days, we need not work. We can plunge ourselves into complete rest. This rest satisfies the monotony and boredom of our life. Taking rest on holidays, we can refresh our body and mind. We can retain stamina and energy. These increase the efficiency of work and make work more enjoyable. Different people can enjoy holidays in different ways. Some take rest at home; some go to visit different places while some other visit to friends’ and relatives’ houses. This holiday should be enjoyed in the best way.
