Dialogue about winning a cricket match

Bangladesh won the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2020 defeating India.

Now, write a dialogue between you and your friend Joy/Joyeeta about the match.

Myself : Hello Joyeeta. How’re you?

Joyeeta : Hi! I’m fine. What about you?

Myself : I’m doing great! Did you watch the U-19 Cricket World Cup 2020 final match between India and Bangladesh?

Joyeeta : Of course! What a fantastic match it was! Did you watch it?

Myself : Yes. That was undoubtedly one of the most exciting matches I’ve ever seen. I was so tensed that I remained seated almost the entire time in front of the TV.

Joyeeta : Me too, friend. At one point, Bangladesh fell deeper into trouble when a bowler took four wickets at a stress. I got too nervous and anxious during those moments. I thought Bangladesh would lose the match.

Myself : Yes, that’s was the hard time for Bangladesh. I felt losing my pulses several times during that period.

Joyeeta : I do remember that. At last, Captain Akbar Ali stonewalled the Indian attack. He remained unbeaten till the win.

Myself : Yup. He scored the most precious 43 runs out of 77 balls. He also became the man of the match.

Joyeeta : Yes, he did. I think Bangladesh wouldn’t be able to win the match without his calm nerves.

Myself : You’re absolutely right, Joyeeta. But I think Bangladeshi bowlers also deserve the credit. They bowled so well that Indian batsmen could not score much from the first nine overs. They even, at one point, lost 7 wickets scoring only 21 runs.

Joyeeta : You’re right. Bangladeshi bowlers got huge success that day. India lost all their wickets scoring only 177. This’s not a good target for a one-day international cricket match.

Myself : Yes, such a low score was also a vital reason for the win. Let’s celebrate the win now.

Joyeeta : Alright! Let’s go then.
