Good Manners
Good manners are something that is acceptable to all human beings. From
childhood, we were always taught good manners. Good manners are important for
a person to live in a society. But if a person is lacking it then even the
most educated person will not be a good man.
A child first learns manners from their parents and try to copy their
behaviour. So It is very important for the parents to behave appropriately in
front of their kids. If the child is taught right from childhood, it would be
easier for him to achieve the behaviours as he grows up.
Good manners hold great importance in a persons’ life. One should always take
care of how he interacts. They are essential in any field of life.
At home, one should respect his parents. He should maintain proper hygiene
like washing hands before eating, chewing food well and eating with mouth
closed, taking permission from parents before going out, etc.
In school, a child should respect his teachers and seniors. The child should
be well dressed and hygienic. He should always be punctual.
In the work field, one should respect his co-workers. He should be punctual in
the office. Should not gossip while working, not distract others, not fall
into corruption and do the work with honesty and diligence. Good manners
imbibe a positive attitude in the workplace where the employer, as well as the
employees, feel comfortable.
There are no institutes where one can learn good manners. It is mostly a
self-learned process in which one slowly develops by observing others as one
grows up.
There are many advantages to being well-mannered. Most importantly it makes
the world a better place to live in. Good manners and etiquette do not depend
on one’s looks or appearance. Good manners make life easier and happier.
