My Birthday
Birthday is everyone's most memorable day of life. My birthday falls on 25 September. I am very happy on this day because it is the only day when I was made to feel important.
I celebrate my birthday every year. I get up very early on that day. I wear new clothes. Then I say my prayers. I seek my parent's blessing. My mother cooks my favourite dishes on that day. My last birthday was the most memorable birthday to date.
I woke up early at 6 AM because my family sang a special song for me and they gave me some gifts. Also, I was hugged by all of them.
Mom made my favourite breakfast called Idli because it was my birthday. Dad bought a big cake for me. I cut the cake.
Then I started receiving calls from relatives and friends. In the evening I opened the door, I saw all my friends standing there with a cake, everyone said happy birthday to me.
I thought they had forgotten my birthday. But no they didn't.
All hugged me one by one and gave me gifts and roses. I cut the cake which they bought. We danced, had food that was arranged by my friends.
My dad also arranges a party in the evening. I invite my friends, neighbours and relatives.
The house was decorated beautifully by my sister and my mother. In the evening, I cut my birthday cake. Everybody was in a joyful mood and enjoyed it a lot. The guests took dinner and went away at midnight.
When the party was over, I unpacked all my gifts. I was surprised to see such lovely gifts. I then thanked my parents for holding such a pleasant party to celebrate my birthday.
I feel very special and enjoy the day very much. Every year I wait my birthday.
