The Liberation War
Liberation is our great achievement. Liberation war occurred during 1971 and after nine month’s struggle, Bangladesh became independent. Eleven years ago Samira and Laila had an interesting conversation with Samira’s parents. It was about the Liberation War. Both of them could not remember much about it. So, they asked Samira’s parents some questions about it. It was a great war. Everybody wanted to do something for the county. It was a glorious time. There were lots of shouts and bangs outside at night. People were in panic then. Some helpless people took shelter in far-off villages. All classes of people fought against their enemies. After nine month’s fierce fighting, our freedom fighters became victorious. Now ours in an independent country. So we are proud of our Liberation War.
