Paragraph : Juvenile Delinquency

Juvenile Delinquency

Juvenile delinquency is one of the serious problems of mass society. It is an outcome of rapid urbanization and industrialization in modern times. This has almost become a universal problem in most of the industrialized countries including India and Bangladesh. Delinquency is a kind of abnormality. When a juvenile exhibits behaviour which may prove to be dangerous to the society or to himself he may be called a Juvenile Delinquent. Since the juveniles are not grown up enough their work should be treated as abnormal work and, in a systematic way, the abnormality should be removed. Proper psychic treatment can be helpful in this regard. In simple words, it can be said that juvenile delinquency is a type of abnormal or anti-social behaviour of a juvenile who is below an age specified by statute.
