THE PRIZE/AWARD GIVING CEREMONY OF RAJSHAHI LAB. GOVT. HIGH SCHOOL
Tanvir Ahmed, RAJSHAHI, February 20 : The annual prize-giving ceremony of Rajshahi Govt. Laboratory High School was held on 17 February 2020 in the school auditorium.
The whole school wore a festive look on the occasion. The school building along with the auditorium and its dais was colourfully decorated with flags and flowers.
The function started at 2:30 pm with the recitation from the Holy Quran and lasted for three hours.
The Headmaster of the school presided over the function while the local MP attended the function as the chief guest. The guardians and the elite of the town, among others, attended the ceremony as guests.
There were recitations, songs and the drama in which as many as thirty students took part. As soon as the recitations and songs were over, the Headmaster read out the annual report describing the work and the progress of the school in various directions. After that, the chief guest gave away the prizes and made a short speech praising the progress of the school.
The function came to an end in the late afternoon with a vote of thanks from the chair.
