my best wishes to you. Hope, you are well. I am so so. However, I am very happy
to learn that you are very much interested to know about my country. Now, I am
giving you a short description about my country. You may have known that
Bangladesh is very attractive. Many kinds of crops like rich, wheat,
sugarcane, vegetables, tea, jute etc. grow here abundantly. Rice is our staple
food. About 16 million people live in our country. Almost all the people speak
in Bangla. English is our second language. Most of the people of our country
are Muslims. Besides, there are Hindus, Buddhists, Christians and tribal
people also. The hospitality of our people is praise worthy. Most of the
people of our country wear Lungi and Panjabi. The people observe various
festivals gorgeously. World’s largest Sea-beach Cox’s Bazar and endless beauty
of the green and the biggest mangrove forest Sundarbans are our national
assets and they have been recently included to the world heritage sites.
Bangladesh
is a riverine country. The Padma, the Meghna, the Jamuna and the Brahmaputra
are the main rivers. Although ours is small and middle earning country, we are
proud of it.
