An Important Agriculture Product of Bangladesh
Tea is an important agricultural product of Bangladesh. It is mainly grown in Sylhet and Chittagong regions of this country. Sylhet and Chittagong are mainly hilly regions of the country and tea is cultivated in the slopes of hills. Much rainfall is necessary for growing tea. It must also be ensured that rainwater does not stand at the root of the tea plants. It is very important for Bangladesh because this country earns a lot of foreign currency by Exporting tea to other countries every year. Moreover, a huge number of people are employed in tea cultivation and processing industry. In fact, its importance for Bangladesh is immense.
