A Journey By Train
A journey by train is interesting. It is also instructive. During Eid Vacation I made a journey by train from Chittagong to Dhaka. I went there to see my friend Anika. I reached the station ten minutes earlier. I bought a ticket. The Urmi Aruna Express reached the station at 9 a.m. I got into a compartment and took my seat. There was a rush on the train. The train started. The train reached Laksham station within 4 hours. It halted there for five minutes. After that, the train again started. At about 4 p.m. the train crossed the Bhairad Bridge over the river Meghna. Both the sides of the river were full of green fields. All the boats set their sails. It seemed that birds with white wings were flying. At about 5 p.m. the train reached the Kurmitola station. After half an hour the train reached Kamlapur station. I got down from the train. I hired a rickshaw and started for my friend’s hostel at Mirpur. The journey was very pleasant. I gave me a fair idea of the country I live in. Students should enjoy it whenever that get a chance.
