Another blue day;

Slip useless away?

এই যে দেখ দিচ্ছে উকি
নতুন প্রভাত হেথা;
ভাবো দেখি, দিনটা কি যায়
নিস্ফলা আর বৃথা?
দিনটা কালের গর্ভ থেকে
আসছে নতুন বেশে;
মহাকালেই ফিরবে আবার
রাতের প্রহর শেষে।
দেখো, আগে যখন ছিল সবার
দৃষ্টি সদাই ভুলো,
নিমিষে তাই পালায় দিয়ে
সবার চোখে ধুলো
এই যে দেখ দিচ্ছে উঁকি
নতুন প্রভাত হেথা;
ভাবো দেখি, দিনটা কি যায়
নিস্ফলা আর বৃথা?
The Theme : Time is the most precious thing in one’s life. Born out of eternity, each day of life is a golden opportunity for noble achievements. Soon again it glides into eternal night and is lost for ever. We must not, therefore, let our time slip uselessly. Time killing is culpable.
(সময় জীবনের সবচেয়ে মূল্যবান বিষয়। অনন্তকাল থেকে সৃষ্ট জীবনের প্রতিটি দিন মহান কীর্তি অর্জনের এক সোনালী সুযোগ। এই দিন পুনরায় অনতিবিলম্বে শাশ্বত রজনীর মাঝে ধাবিত হয় এবং চিরকালের জন্য হারিয়ে যায়। অতএব, অপ্রয়োজনে সময় নষ্ট করা ঠিক নয়, সময় অপচয় দণ্ডনীয়।)
