Dhaka, Bangladesh
22 April 2020

My dear Smith,
Thank you very much for your sweet note. In your letter you have wanted to know about the scenic beauty of Bangladesh. Now I am writing to you about the scenic beauty of my native country.

Bangladesh is a treasure trove of bounteous nature. It is uniquely a land of scenic beauty. Green meadows and green corn fields are eye-catching and amazing. Ours is a riverine country. It is criss-crossed by many rivers and their tributaries. The Sundarbans is the largest mangrove forest in the world. It’s still renowned for its great variety of its flora and fauna. It’s a splendid habitat of Royal Bengal Tigers, spotted deer and the estuarine crocodiles. Tourists from all over the world come to visit the Sundarbans, the 52nd World Heritage Site, St. Martin’s Island is the only one coral island in the country. It is situated on the Bay of Bengal, about 48 km from Teknaf. The island is replete with natural beauty. It seems to be a floating flower in the midst of the Bay of Bengal looks beautiful. One can see the nature here closely. Kuakata is another excellent sea beach in Bangladesh. One can see sunrise and sunset here. The tea gardens of Sylhet, Hobiganj, Moulvibazar and other places; the deep forests of Rangamati, the waterfall of Madhabkunda are worth mentioning.

So, I invite you to pay a visit to my native country. I hope you will be impressed by enjoying the scenic beauty of my country. The most attractive landscape of Bangladesh will give you immense pleasure.

No more today.

Yours ever,
Javed
