Take my cordial love and best wishes to you, However, I’m happy to learn that
you are very much interested to know about my country and her people. Here it
is. Bangladesh is situated in the southern part of Asia. Bangladesh is an
independent country. The natural scenery of Bangladesh is very attractive.
Rice is our staple food. There are 160 million people in our country. Almost
all the people speak in Bangla. Most of the people of our country are Muslims.
Besides, there are Hindus, Buddhists, Christians, and people belonging to
traditional religions, also. The hospitality of our people is well-reputed.
The people observe various festivals gorgeously. World’s largest Sea-beach
Cox’s Bazar and the Sundarbans, the largest mangrove forest in the world are
our national assets and they have been recently included in the world’s
heritage sites.
Bangladesh is called a riverine country. The Padma, the Meghna, the Jamuna, and
the Brahmaputra are its main rivers. Although ours is a small and developing
country we are proud of it.
