VICTORIA COLLEGE CELEBRATED INDEPENDENCE DAY
COMILLA, March 29 : The 44th Independence Day was observed at Comilla Victoria College Premises on March 26, with great enthusiasm and solemnity.
The celebrate the occasion preparations were taken with the help from district administration. The local DC attended the ceremony as the chief guest while the Principal presided over the ceremony. The programme of the day started with the singing of the national anthem and hoisting of the national flag at 8:00 am. To celebrate the occasion with pomp and grandeur, the college buildings were decorated with colourful papers.
Patriotic songs were heard through microphones. Students of the college participated in the programme voluntarily and acted out a one at play by Humaun Ahmed. They also sang patriotic songs and danced rhythmically.
Every spectator was amused at the performance of the protagonists. In fact, the students of the college presented a productive cultural programme to the viewers on this occasion.
