With due respect, I have the honour to state that ours is a renowned college in the district. There are about 6 thousand students in our college. Many of them are studious. Only the text books cannot satisfy their thirst for knowledge. And English daily is very necessary for us. It can provide worldwide news with its vast range. By going through it, our knowledge of English language will be developed. The importance of English cannot be overstated. This is the age of science. Newer and newer research findings in scientific matters appear almost every day in the daily newspapers. We shall fail to be in the swim unless we are provided with an English daily in our common room. 

I, therefore, request you kindly to provide an English Daily in our common room and oblige.

We, the students of your college, would like to inform you to state that we don’t have any English Daily in our college common room. As a result, we can’t cope with the world outside. Besides, English is an international language. Today no education or job is possible without the knowledge in English. An English Daily may help us to learn English language. Reading English newspaper is a good way to learn English. 

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to take necessary steps keeping an English Daily in our common room and oblige thereby.
